We should never take our freedoms for granted. This story seems to me to be extremely instructive and inspiring in terms both of justice and personal redemption. It is therefore ironic that church and state banned it, transnationally!  How sweetly ironic that the story is now perpetuated -globally – through one of the most popular musicals of all time..the one the critics had said would be ‘too complex’ for the public! jm
