Father God – Thank you for creating us!
Christ Jesus – Thank you for making, through your pain and sacrifice, a way we can choose to be saved from spiritual death
Holy Spirit – thank you for giving us our opportunity to be reborn
In the Almighty name of Jesus…..Hear our prayer!
Waiting
We pray for our nation
Heavenly Father – Watch over us and our nation. Help us be aware of our many wrongdoings and to cry for spiritual reawakening throughout this land.
In the Almighty name of Jesus…..Hear our prayer!
We pray for your Body on Earth
Heavenly Father, create the body of your son throughout the world. You have stated in your word that when we confess our many wrongdoings, humble ourselves and seek your face – then you will reawaken your body on earth and bring healing to our lands. Heavenly father enable us to admit to and repent what we do wrong:
Forgive all of us:
- Forgive us our pride, our assumption we are right
- Forgive us when we refuse to listen to your promptings
- Forgive us when we misuse our power and position
- Forgive us when our loyalties supersede your still small voice
- Forgive us when we turn your church into our club
- Forgive us when we look down at those who are less fortunate than us
- Forgive us our many trespasses
Show us, father, how to bend our heads to the ground, humble ourselves before you and repent!
And then father …enable us to seek your face!
And finally father …we ask that you heal our land!
In the Almighty name of Jesus…..Hear our prayer!
We pray for those who have suffered trauma, neglect and abuse
And for those who are ill, addicted or isolated
In the Almighty name of Jesus…..Hear our prayer!
We pray for the people in war and conflict… in particular in Syria, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan and Iraq
And for those who have died and those who mourn them
In the Almighty name of Jesus…..Hear our prayer!
We bring to you anybody for whom we have particular concern.

Intersession! : )
Comprehensive focus made me feel covered! Brought my emotions, around to focus compassion and pay attention.
I miss intersessions.
Glad to see war zones interceded for. Please add, Iraq. My brother is there. Or maybe, him thee, that is all the intersession that is needed. ; )
There is a pattern to intersession.
Been wondering some things about this for a while..
I think I’ll go back to it. It is Sunday after all.
