A few days ago I wrote a post on the subject of dying with Christ. It was a short post meant to be thought provoking and I think that most people understood it like that. However, a post with such intent is doomed to cause some readers to ask questions about what I really think about the subject at hand. I like reactions of this kind because they offer me some indications on what thoughts you would like me to expand on and sometimes they contain new perspectives that I can use to develop my own reasoning.

As always these posts are full of inteligence and genuine search for understanding. The individuality of each person's 'dying to self' is so important, as otherwise mechanical formulas abound and people are trapped by charismatic or pedantic leaders who are simply in it for their own self importance. The same can be said of 'preaching' - way beyond the sterotype communication of the word - or 'ministry' an interesting one, since to minister is to serve and yet the meaning has beeen perverted to mean be in charge!!! I am full of admiration for this man's intelligent journey towards greater truth and understanding and simply ask that he continue and never be put off by those who box the Lord ( in both senses!) jm
